Frequently asked questions
- Access to the BEAP is by invitation only.
- Program Managers will send email invitations to committee members.
- Follow the steps within the email invitation to access the BEAP.
- If you did not receive an email invitation or require assistance, contact the Program Manager.
- This error message means you already have a Grants Portal account for the email address you are using. You will need to use your Grants Portal account to access the BEAP.
- Go to the BEAP sign in page and use your Grants Portal account to sign in.
- If you forgot your password, go to the Grants Portal sign in page and select Forgot your password? to reset your password.
- Contact the Program Manager to request the closure of your account and follow the necessary steps.
- Select Save at the bottom of the conflict of interest and assessment pages. Save often to avoid losing your work.
- It is a step in the assessment process where committee members declare any conflict of interest before applications are assigned to them for assessment.
- Go to the For action page and select a pre-assessment COI.
- Select Edit for each applicant or contact to declare a conflict of interest.
- When you are finished, select Submit at the bottom of the page.
- Go to the COI declarations page to see your submitted declarations.
- After you are assigned applications to assess, go to the For action page and select an application to open the assessment scorecard.
- Select Edit to add your scores and comments to assessment criteria.
- Enter the application strengths, weaknesses, and an overall comment at the bottom of the scorecard.
- Select Submit at the bottom of the scorecard to submit your completed assessment.
- Within the assessment scorecard, select Instructions to access more information.
- Depending on the program, you can access more information in the application pack by selecting View application and supporting documents.
- Select Declare conflict of interest within the assessment scorecard to submit your COI declaration. This will notify the Program Manager.
- Contact the Program Manager as soon as possible to discuss further.
- Go to the Application assessments page to view your submitted assessments.
- Once you submit an assessment, it cannot be edited in the BEAP. Contact the Program Manager if you need to amend/resubmit your assessment.
- Go to the Committee meetings page to view summaries of committee meetings you are a member of.
